Spiced Tea

I love this time of year when it is chilly outside and you can cozy up in a warm blanket sipping on a comforting hot drink.  🙂  One of my favorites is Spiced Tea.  Growing up, my mom would make this every year when it turned cold outside.   This recipe makes such a big batch that I usually will end up making up small jars of it and giving it away as teachers gifts or neighbors gifts for Christmas.

Spiced Tea

  • 3 cups Tang powder100_7823
  • 3 cups instant tea
  • 1 cup lemonade powder
  • 2 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cloves

In a large bowl stir all ingredients together.  Store in an airtight container.  Stir 2 teaspoons into a cup of hot water and enjoy.  🙂  You can use more or less depending on your taste preference.
