I had a craving the other night for cinnamon rolls. I really didn’t want to go through the trouble of making them from scratch, so I scrounged around my kitchen to see what I had to work with. The result was super easy, and it definitely satisfied my craving.
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 7×11-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Roll out the croissant dough and pinch together the seams. Butter the top of the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and pecans. Roll up and pinch seam together. Slice into 1-1/2 inch sections. Place into prepared pan and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until done.
While cinnamon rolls are baking, mix together 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1-2 teaspoons of water. Add more water or sugar to make the icing the consistency you want. (You can also use milk in place of water).
Serve warm and enjoy! 🙂
